Nicholas is accused of causing the death of his 2-year-old daughter, identified as Izabella L., through sustained physical abuse and neglectful actions.
On the morning of April 3, deputies from the sheriff’s office were called to the family home. Upon their arrival, they found Izabella unconscious, and despite immediate efforts to save her, paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
