Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Authorities in Pine Bluff are asking for the public’s help in locating a young woman who is now wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation tied to a homicide case.
The Pine Bluff Police Department issued a BOLO alert for Omarria Woodus, a 19-year-old woman, as officers continue to pursue leads following the arrest of a capital murder suspect earlier in the case. Investigators say Woodus is facing charges of hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental operations after allegedly assisting the suspect.
Police say suspect helped conceal homicide suspect
According to police, Woodus knowingly allowed Akyell Malik Madison, the suspect in a deadly December shooting, to hide inside her residence. During the investigation, officers say she provided false information, telling them that no one was inside the home. However, Madison was later located inside the residence and taken into custody.
This discovery led to further charges against Woodus, as authorities believe her actions interfered with the investigation and delayed the apprehension of a dangerous individual.
In addition to the allegations, officers reported that a firearm was found inside the residence. Woodus claimed ownership of the weapon, raising further concerns for officer safety. Because of this, authorities warn that she should be considered potentially armed.
Description and last known details released
Police provided a description to help the public identify Woodus. She is described as a Black female, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 95 pounds, with brown eyes. Her date of birth is listed as May 22, 2006, and her listed address is 6804 Petit Cove in Pine Bluff.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts or the vehicle is encouraged to call the Pine Bluff Police Department tip hotline at 870-730-2106, the detective office at 870-730-2090, or dispatch at 870-541-5300. Anonymous tips are also accepted.
