Pine Bluff police ask for public help locating woman accused of armed confrontation with a 17-year-old girl

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Pine Bluff authorities are searching for a woman accused of aggravated assault following a tense encounter that involved a firearm and a teenage victim.

The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking the public for help in locating Cynthia Logan who is wanted for aggravated assault. Officials identified Logan as a Black female born on November 27, 1987, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. Her last known address is listed as 801 S. Wisconsin Street, which is also where the incident reportedly took place.

Incident escalates into armed confrontation

According to investigators, the incident occurred on March 25, 2026, and began as a verbal altercation connected to Logan’s daughter. What started as an argument quickly grew into something far more serious.

Police allege that during the confrontation, Logan pointed a black pistol at a 17-year-old female. The involvement of a firearm sharply raised the danger of the situation, turning a dispute into a criminal case involving aggravated assault. Authorities made clear that a weapon was used during the incident, increasing concern for public safety.

Because of the nature of the allegations, officials are warning that Logan should be considered armed and dangerous. They stress that no one should attempt to approach her, and instead urge residents to immediately contact law enforcement if they see her or know where she might be.

Multiple warrants intensify search efforts

Beyond the assault accusation, Logan is also wanted on several outstanding warrants. These include failure to appear charges in Jefferson County and Desha County, both tied to traffic violations. She is also facing a contempt of court charge connected to the DeWitt Police Department.

These additional legal issues add pressure to the ongoing search, as investigators work to locate her and bring her into custody. Authorities believe that public assistance could play a key role in finding her quickly and safely.

Anyone with information about Cynthia Logan’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Pine Bluff Police Department. Tips can be submitted through the hotline at 870-730-2106, by calling the detective office at 870-730-2090, or by reaching dispatch at 870-541-5300. Officials emphasize that even small pieces of information may help move the case forward and prevent further danger.
