Arkansas LOTTO jackpot reaches $1.59 million ahead of tonight’s drawing

Arkansas LOTTO jackpot reaches $1.59 million ahead of tonight's drawing

Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas lottery players will have another opportunity to chase a growing jackpot as the LOTTO top prize has climbed to an estimated $1.59 million ahead of tonight’s drawing.

The Arkansas-exclusive game continues to attract attention from players across the state as the jackpot increases with each drawing that passes without a grand prize winner. Officials say the current prize has reached one of its larger amounts, giving participants a chance to compete for a life-changing payout.

LOTTO was created specifically for Arkansas players and was designed to offer residents additional opportunities to win substantial prizes without competing against players from other states.

Jackpot Continues To Grow

Drawings for LOTTO take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m.

During each drawing, six numbers are selected from a pool of numbers ranging from 1 to 40. A Bonus Number is also drawn.

To capture the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers drawn. The numbers can be matched in any order. Players who do not hit the jackpot still have chances to win alternate prizes by matching at least three winning numbers, either with or without the Bonus Number.

Lottery officials noted that the game has already produced several jackpot winners since its launch. Five players have claimed the top prize over the years, including winners from Yell County, Sebastian County, and Pulaski County.

The growing jackpot follows another drawing that produced several notable winners.

Last Wednesday’s LOTTO drawing resulted in six players winning prizes worth $500 or more. Among them were three players who each collected prizes of $1,500.

How The Game Works

Each LOTTO play costs $2, making it one of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s draw games available exclusively to state residents.

If a player successfully matches all six winning numbers and no one else does, that player receives the entire jackpot. However, if multiple players match all six numbers in the same drawing, the jackpot is divided equally among the winners.

Once the jackpot is won, it resets to $250,000 and begins growing again with subsequent drawings until another winner emerges.

Tickets can be purchased through licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery retailers throughout the state. Players may also buy tickets using retailer applications offered through the lottery’s Play on the Go partners.

Lottery officials remind participants that ticket sales end at 8:59 p.m. on drawing nights, one minute before the winning numbers are selected.

Players must be at least 18 years old to purchase LOTTO tickets or any other Arkansas Scholarship Lottery product.

With the jackpot now standing at $1.59 million and excitement building ahead of tonight’s drawing, Arkansas players will once again be hoping their numbers are the ones selected when the drawing takes place at 9 p.m. If no one matches all six winning numbers, the jackpot will continue its climb and become even larger for the next drawing.
