Little Rock, Arkansas – Three Arkansas Scholarship Lottery players recently experienced life-changing moments after winning major prizes on scratch-off tickets, with winnings ranging from $200,000 to $500,000.
The lucky winners, who purchased tickets in different parts of Arkansas, each discovered that a routine lottery purchase had turned into a substantial financial windfall.
The largest prize was claimed by a resident of Woodruff County, who won $500,000 playing the $20 scratch-off game 200X. The winner visited the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center in late May to collect the prize.
The winning ticket was sold by 2S Square LLC at 401 N. Edmonds Avenue in McCrory.
When the player realized the ticket was a top-prize winner, disbelief was the first reaction.
“No way this is real,” the lucky winner thought.
Lottery officials noted that despite the major win, players still have opportunities to claim additional top prizes. Two $500,000 prizes remain available in the 200X game.
Truck driver wins $200,000 during stop in Morrilton
Another major winner was Nadine M. of Citrus County, Florida, who claimed a $200,000 prize on June 4 after playing the $10 scratch-off game 200,000 Bonus Cash.
The winning ticket was purchased at Love’s Travel Stop #267 on North Highway 95 in Morrilton.
Nadine, a truck driver, said she enjoys purchasing crossword-themed scratch-off tickets and often tries newly released games while traveling. During a stop in Morrilton, the recently launched 200,000 Bonus Cash ticket caught her attention.
She scratched the ticket immediately after purchasing it inside the store and quickly realized something extraordinary had happened.
“I was in disbelief,” Nadine told lottery officials.
Excited by the discovery, she contacted her brother to share the news. While he was happy for her, he initially struggled to believe that she had really won such a large prize.
Nadine said she already has several ideas for how to use the money.
“I have tons of plans for the prize,” Nadine told lottery officials.
Among those plans is sharing part of the winnings with family members.
Lottery officials said two $200,000 top prizes still remain available in the 200,000 Bonus Cash game.
Daily lottery players rewarded with huge surprise
A third major winner was Estafany L. from Desha County, who claimed a $200,000 top prize after playing the $10 Cash Mania scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was purchased at A Tobacco Outlet LLC, located at 101 Crooked Bayou in McGehee.
For Estafany, the claim center visit marked her first experience collecting a lottery prize.
She and her husband regularly play lottery games and initially believed the winning ticket was worth only $200. Wanting a second opinion, she showed it to her husband to confirm what she was seeing.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “Is this really happening?”
After examining the ticket, her husband’s reaction reflected the couple’s excitement.
“Wow!”
A closer review revealed that the prize was not $200 but an astonishing $200,000.
The couple has already begun making plans for the money. One of their biggest goals is taking their son on the family’s first cruise vacation, something they had long hoped to do. They also intend to invest a portion of the winnings for the future.
Lottery officials said two additional $200,000 top prizes remain available in the Cash Mania game.
The three wins highlight how quickly fortunes can change through Arkansas Scholarship Lottery scratch-off games. For one Woodruff County resident, a Florida truck driver passing through Arkansas, and a Desha County family, a simple lottery ticket turned into a six-figure payday and the chance to pursue long-held dreams.
