ARDOT announces public meeting to discuss I-30 widening project in Texarkana

Texarkana, Arkansas – The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will hold a public involvement meeting on Thursday, October 17, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., to discuss the proposed widening of Interstate 30 (I-30). The section of I-30 being addressed stretches from the Texas State line to Interstate 49 (I-49) in Texarkana.

The meeting will take place at the Trinity Baptist Fellowship Hall, located at 3115 Trinity Blvd., Texarkana, AR 71854. Attendees will have the opportunity to view project materials and provide feedback.

For those unable to attend, the meeting materials will be available online starting Friday, October 11. Written comments regarding the project will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1.

Participants may submit comments online via the ARDOT website or mail them to the ARDOT Environmental Division at 10324 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209.
