Overnight ramp closures scheduled in Pulaski County as crews test new wrong way detection systems

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will hold a virtual Public Involvement Meeting starting Monday, September 23, to gather input on the proposed replacement of the bridge structure on Highway 147 over Fish Bayou in Crittenden County. The meeting will be conducted via a pre-recorded presentation, and community members are invited to participate by viewing the materials and providing feedback online.

How to Participate

Beginning September 23, the public can access the meeting materials through a link provided by ARDOT, though the link will not be active until that date. Written comments can be submitted online or by mail to ARDOT’s Environmental Division until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 7.

A Spanish version of the website is available for those who need it. Individuals without internet access can contact Matt Strawn at (501) 569-2638 or via email at [email protected] to ask questions about the proposed project.

Those in need of information or special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are encouraged to reach out to ARDOT by mail, phone, or email for assistance.
