Arkansas Department of Transportation schedules overnight ramp closures on I-440 for camera testing and calibration

New application cycle opens for transportation research and workforce development grant program

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Department of Transportation has scheduled overnight closures on the east and west off-ramps of Interstate 440 between mile markers 2 and 5. The closures will occur from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, weather permitting.

During this time, crews will test and calibrate wrong-way detection cameras to enhance roadway safety. Emergency vehicles will maintain access to the off-ramps throughout the closure. Traffic management will include the use of barrels, message boards, and signage to guide drivers safely through the area.
