Arkansas governor launches Faith Based Initiatives website

Little Rock, Arkansas – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the launch of her office’s Faith-Based Initiatives website. This platform aims to unite Arkansas’ diverse faith communities around pressing issues facing the Natural State. Faith leaders are encouraged to sign up through the portal to join a network of advocates addressing critical areas such as childhood hunger, mental illness, maternal health, foster care, social media, and more.

Governor Sanders has already signed Executive Orders to form working groups focused on maternal health, foster care, and human trafficking. These groups collaborate with advocacy organizations statewide to tackle the challenges Arkansans face. By joining the Governor’s faith-based initiatives team, faith groups can become part of this collaborative effort, mobilizing communities around shared goals.

“Faith is the guiding light in my life and in the lives of so many Arkansans,” said Governor Sanders. “Arkansas’ faith communities are built on serving others. When we unite our churches, temples, and faith-based nonprofits around the common issues facing our state, I know we’ll build a better, brighter Arkansas.”

As Governor Sanders compiles a list of faith communities willing to help, her team will reach out to these stakeholders to raise awareness and address issues impacting Arkansas. This initiative aims to harness the collective power of faith-based groups to create positive change and improve the lives of residents across the state.

Faith leaders and organizations interested in participating can sign up through the new Faith-Based Initiatives website to join this important cause.
