Arkansas player wins big with 200X the Win scratch-off

Two players who regularly play the Arkansas Lottery finally see their persistence pay off with big wins

Little Rock, Arkansas – One Arkansas lottery player recently struck it big with a lucky scratch-off ticket he purchased on his way to work.

Michael R., a resident of Dumas, won $500,000 by playing the $20 “200X the Win” instant game. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on July 19.

Daily Routine Leads to Big Win

The winning ticket was sold at Dumas Mart, located at 225 Highway 65 S. in Dumas. Michael purchased the winning ticket before work as part of his daily lottery-playing routine. Although he enjoys the occasional Fast Play game, his loyalties lie with $20 instant tickets. Sticking with his usual preference, Michael selected a “200X the Win” scratch-off game.

Fortunately for Michael, his commitment paid off. Shortly after purchasing his ticket, he scratched it off and, to his amazement, discovered that he had won the $500,000 top prize.

“I’ll pay off my house!” Michael thought immediately.

Sharing the Exciting News

Excited, the winner first told his girlfriend, then made a detour to the ASL Claim Center to collect his prize. Michael also called his mother, who was sound asleep when he decided to share the news. Naturally, she jumped out of bed in shock.

“Say what now?” she asked. “Are you lying?”

Her surprise is understandable; the $500,000 top prize far surpassed the $1,000 prizes Michael had won previously. However, the winner was indeed telling the truth.

Future Plans

Despite his significant win, Michael plans to continue playing lottery games. Following his win, two $500,000 top prizes remain available on the 200X the Win instant game.
