ART WORKS on Main hosts Open Mic Poetry night

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus invites the Pine Bluff community to experience an evening of creative expression at “ART WORKS Presents: Open Mic Poetry,” a special poetry event hosted by acclaimed artist Tru Poet. Scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, the event will take place in the Adam B. Robinson Jr. Black Box Theater at ART WORKS on Main, located at 627 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff.

Celebrating the Art of Spoken Word

This open-mic event welcomes poetry lovers aged 16 and older to share their original spoken-word pieces or select readings with an audience that values the power of words. The evening provides an inspiring and supportive space for participants to connect through storytelling, self-expression, and the beauty of poetry. Tru Poet, known for their engaging style and passion for verse, will guide the event, fostering an environment that encourages both novice and experienced poets alike.

Community, Creativity, and Connection

There is no need for pre-registration, and the entry fee is $5 for ARTx3 members and $10 for nonmembers. In addition to the open mic, attendees will have the chance to win door prizes, adding an element of fun to the evening. Refreshments, including drinks and snacks, will be available for purchase.

ARTx3 encourages community members to explore the unique voices within their town and enjoy the creativity of others. The event promises to be a memorable celebration of artistry and connection.
