Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas invites local talent for biennial holiday spectacular in Pine Bluff

ARTx3 Campus to host a “Door Hangers and Drinks” workshop

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC) is once again lighting up the holiday season, inviting the best vocal and dance talents to showcase their flair in the much-awaited biennial event, “Razzle Dazzle: A Holiday Spectacular.” This festive variety show is an opportunity for artists to share their gifts and uplift the holiday spirits.

Open auditions are scheduled for 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 9, in the elegant setting of the Catherine M. Bellamy Theater, located at ASC, 701 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff. If selected, these talented individuals will dazzle audiences with performances at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, followed by a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Eager participants aged 16 and up can audition. As rehearsals kick off in mid-October, it’s essential that those selected remain available for all performances. The ASC encourages prospective participants to register in advance at asc701.org/auditions. For questions, contact Lindsey Collins at [email protected] or 870-536-3375.

For those warming up their vocal cords, a 1-2 minute song snippet – not necessarily holiday-themed – is needed to demonstrate their singing prowess. Dancers, on the other hand, should mark 7:45 p.m. on their calendars and arrive with no specific routine in mind. However, they should don comfortable attire and appropriate footwear to ensure they move with ease.

As the festive season approaches, this is a golden opportunity for artists to shine, bring joy, and, most importantly, dazzle their community.
