Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas to honor Dr. Rachel Miller at special reception

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC) is set to host a special reception to honor the significant contributions of Dr. Rachel Miller, who has played a role as the executive director of ASC and the ARTx3 Campus. This event will also introduce the public to Lindsey Collins, the interim director.

Celebrating Leadership and Transition

Scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 15, from 5-7 p.m. at the ASC located at 701 S. Main St., the reception aims to celebrate Dr. Miller’s tenure and achievements since 2014. Under her leadership, the ASC has flourished, contributing immensely to the cultural and educational landscape of Southeast Arkansas. Dr. Miller is moving on to embrace a new opportunity as the executive director of the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History in California, marking the end of an impactful era at the ASC.

The event promises an engaging evening with light hors d’oeuvres and drinks, offering attendees not only the chance to honor Dr. Miller’s work but also to interact with Lindsey Collins. Collins, currently serving as ARTx3’s interim director and theater programs manager, will continue the legacy of leadership and innovation at the ASC.
