Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus invites the public to experience a vibrant celebration of art, history, and music during Art Night on The Block. This event, spread across three key facilities, offers engaging exhibitions, live music, and a creative exploration of Pine Bluff’s community spirit.
The ARTSpace on Main Showcases the Heart of Pine Bluff
At The ARTSpace on Main, located at 623 S. Main Street, visitors can enjoy the opening reception of Picture Pine Bluff in the Loft Gallery. This special pop-up photography exhibition reflects the essence of the city through the eyes of residents and visitors. The display presents historical moments and everyday life, painting a vivid portrait of Pine Bluff over the years. This exhibition, a visual archive of the Arkansas Delta’s rich culture, will remain on view through December 2.
Another highlight at The ARTSpace is the work of eighth-grade students from the My Community and Me program, part of a teaching artist residency led by artist and educator Elly Bates. In this unique art and literacy program, students explored how they perceive themselves within their surroundings and communities. Their creative journey culminated in mixed-media collages, each paired with personal artist statements that express their experiences and self-reflection.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore the remodeled gallery store, The 3rd Space, which offers an exciting selection of artwork, stationery, clothing, and more. The store features pieces by several artists, including Tanya Hollifield, Rayne Cottrell, Dustyn Bork, Amy Darragh, and Gary Cawood.
Live Music at ART WORKS on Main Brings Rhythm to the Evening
Next door, at ART WORKS on Main, located at 627 S. Main Street, visitors can enjoy soulful jazz and R&B tunes as part of ARTx3’s Live@5 concert series. Darnell Cann-Ward, a talented saxophonist, will deliver smooth melodies for attendees 21 and older. Entry to the concert is $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers, adding a musical flair to this dynamic evening of art and culture.
Interactive Exhibitions at the Arts & Science Center Engage All Ages
The Arts & Science Center, located at 701 S. Main Street, offers additional exhibits for visitors of all ages. Current exhibitions include Glimmer by Heidi Carlsen-Rogers and Hysteria by Brandi Parker, each offering unique artistic perspectives. Young attendees can explore the interactive Creative Construction Zone, which features games and large blue blocks, encouraging hands-on engagement and imaginative play.

Art Night on the Block promises a memorable evening for attendees, blending visual arts, live music, and community connection across three distinct venues.
