Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus is welcoming families and art enthusiasts to its free Second Saturday Family FunDay on February 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St., Pine Bluff. This month’s theme is Squeegee Painting, an exciting hands-on activity that encourages creativity and experimentation with colors and textures.
A Unique and Engaging Art Experience
Participants will have the opportunity to create abstract paintings using a squeegee, a technique that allows for bold, expressive designs on canvas or paper. This experimental approach encourages attendees to explore different color combinations and textures, making each artwork unique and personal.
Second Saturday Family FunDay is designed to provide interactive, educational arts and science experiences for visitors of all ages. Each month, participants engage in hands-on activities, ranging from art projects and science experiments to dance, music, and theater performances. All activities are free of charge and are led by visiting artists, local educators, and ARTx3 staff.
