Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Teens will soon have the opportunity to transform their feelings and struggles into powerful lyrics through the dynamic energy of hip-hop and rap. Epiphany “Big Piph” Morrow will be guiding participants in discovering the art of articulating and working through heightened emotions using the beats and rhymes of this vibrant genre.
The hip-hop camp is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, from July 8 to July 12. It is open to teens aged 12–17, with a maximum capacity of 15 students. Thanks to The ARTx3 Campus’s successful Adopt-Camper drive, guardians who submit a scholarship form may have the camp fee waived. The cost of the camp is $100 for ARTx3 members and $120 for nonmembers.
A Kenneth Reams Arts for Justice Grant, along with additional funding from the West Foundation and individual Adopt-A-Camper donors, are supporting this transformative camp.
