ARTx3 to host ring-making workshop for beginners and Enthusiasts

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus is set to welcome enthusiasts and beginners alike to a unique ring-making workshop at The ARTSpace on Main.

Crafting Rings with Mary Pat Tate

Scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 15, from 6–8 p.m., this workshop at 623 S. Main St. offers participants a hands-on opportunity to delve into the art of jewelry making. Under the guidance of Mary Pat Tate, attendees will learn the craftmanship of the herringbone weave, a technique that Tate has mastered over her two decades of jewelry design. Participants will not only leave with two handcrafted rings but also the knowledge and skills to create the Herringbone weave pattern and work with glass beads.

Tate’s approach to jewelry making involves repurposing found objects and combining them with precious metals to craft unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore their creativity in jewelry making, regardless of their experience level.

The event is priced at $20 for ARTx3 members and $25 for non-members, with a minimum age requirement of 16. Those interested in joining this creative session can register online at artx3.org/classes or by calling 870-536-3375. For further details, Bethany Gere can be contacted at [email protected].
