Charleston woman wins $50,000 on a scratch-off ticket purchased in Fort Smith

Persistence pays off as two Arkansas players turn smaller lottery wins into $50,000 jackpots

Charleston, Arkansas – An Arkansas resident recently experienced a lifetime thrill after winning a $50,000 top prize in the $50,000 Frenzy scratch-off game.

A Dream Win Comes True

M. Conway of Charleston, Arkansas, had long set her sights on $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 instant game offered by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. After watching the game since its launch, she decided to try her luck on Monday, February 11, purchasing a ticket at Casey’s General Store #3267, located at 9102 Rogers Ave. in Fort Smith.

Using winnings from a previous instant game, Conway scratched off her ticket inside the store, looking for the “instant win” symbol. When she didn’t see one, she was initially disappointed. However, she decided to scan the ticket just in case, and that decision changed everything.

An Unexpected Surprise

As soon as she scanned the ticket, the lottery terminal displayed a message directing her to claim her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center.

“Now, hold on!” Conway thought. “Wait a minute!”

She checked her ticket again and realized that one of her numbers matched the winning numbers listed at the top, securing her the game’s coveted $50,000 top prize.

Overcome with excitement, Conway celebrated right inside the store, dancing with joy. She later shared the life-changing news with her husband and immediate family, who joined in her happiness.

When asked about her plans for the prize money, the Charleston woman revealed that she would be taking a well-deserved vacation.

Plenty of opportunities are still available for other lucky players hoping to follow in Conway’s footsteps, as $50,000 Frenzy has 76 top prizes remaining.
