What makes this event unique is its dual focus. Not only will it provide young participants with a chance to practice and improve their kitchen skills, but it will also serve a noble purpose. The children will be preparing delicious pasta dinners, which will then be distributed throughout the community by the House of Bread Deliverance Church. This act of service aims to support the church’s mission of providing meals to Arkansans in need.
‘Kids Cookin’ for a Cause’ is facilitated by Kids Cook!, a Little Rock-based cooking school renowned for its mission to teach children a wide array of kitchen skills. Under the guidance of founder Faith Anaya, the event is set to be both educational and enjoyable. Anaya, who is also leading the instruction for ASC’s nutritious cooking program CrEATe Lab, is known for promoting recipes that are not only nutritious and economical but also easy and fun for kids to learn.
