Downtown Little Rock hotel begins with Christmas decorations

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, is embracing the holiday spirit with the start of its annual Christmas tree decorating tradition. This year’s celebration began with the arrival of a magnificent 28-foot white fir tree on Friday morning, setting the stage for a weekend full of festive decoration.

Experts from Tipton and Hurst, known for their floral and decoration skills, are dedicating the weekend to adorn the hotel’s lobby with holiday decor. Howard Hurst from Tipton and Hurst shared insights into this year’s decoration theme, which aims to complement the hotel’s vibrant colors. The decor includes new ribbons and beautiful velvets in shades of burgundy, adding a rich and luxurious feel to the hotel’s festive ambiance.

The highlight of the Capital Hotel’s holiday season will be the tree lighting ceremony scheduled for Tuesday night. The white fir tree, the centerpiece of the hotel’s Christmas decorations, will not only feature the newly selected ribbons and ornaments but will also be illuminated with close to 10,000 lights. This dazzling display is set to captivate both guests and passersby, bringing a sense of warmth and joy to the heart of Little Rock during this festive season.

This annual tradition at the Capital Hotel not only marks the beginning of the holiday season but also serves as a beacon of celebration and togetherness in the community. The carefully selected decorations and the grandeur of the lighting ceremony reflect the hotel’s commitment to creating a memorable holiday experience for everyone who visits.
