In-state lottery jackpots soar for weekend drawings

Arkansas players prepare for $1.56 million LOTTO drawing after recent six figure jackpot claim

Little Rock, Arkansas – Lottery players in Arkansas have two exciting opportunities this weekend as the in-state draw game jackpots rise for tonight and Saturday night’s drawings. The LOTTO and Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) are both offering increased prize amounts, providing players with more chances to win big.

LOTTO Jackpot Reaches Record-High

The LOTTO jackpot has risen to an impressive $3.792 million for Saturday night’s drawing, making it Arkansas’ highest jackpot for an in-state draw game. Since the last jackpot win, ten Arkansas players have each claimed $25,000 prizes. The game, played and won exclusively in Arkansas, is designed to offer players bigger prizes while keeping the excitement local.

LOTTO drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Players must match six numbers, drawn from a range of 1 to 40, to win the jackpot. There’s also a bonus number, and alternate prizes are awarded for matching three or more numbers, with or without the bonus number. Tickets cost $2 per play, and sales close at 8:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing.

Natural State Jackpot Also on the Rise

For tonight’s drawing, the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) has grown to $430,000. This game transitioned to daily drawings in April 2024, leading to faster-growing jackpots. The highest NSJ jackpot to date was $600,000, claimed in July.

NSJ drawings are held nightly at 8 p.m., and tickets cost just $1 per play. Sales for each drawing end at 7:59 p.m., making it easy for players to get their tickets before the deadline.

Where to Purchase

LOTTO and NSJ tickets are available at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and can also be purchased online. Players must be at least 18 years old to participate, and winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.
