Jealous 35-year-old man lay in wait for hours for his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend he harassed for months to show up at her home before shooting him 10 times; bond request denied

Georgia – In a chilling case of premeditated violence fueled by jealousy in Georgia, a 35-year-old man, identified as K. Williams, has had his bond request denied after being charged with murder in the execution-style killing of his ex-girlfriend’s 36-year-old boyfriend, identified as C. Pitter. Williams stands accused of malice murder in the July 6 shooting death of Pitter, who was fatally shot on the doorstep of his girlfriend’s home.

Williams is charged with malice murder, a serious offense rooted in intentional and unjustifiable homicide. Prosecutors say the violence was not spontaneous but rather a result of months of harassment and a calculated setup. Surveillance data and phone records indicate he hid in the bushes outside the woman’s home for hours, including the night of the shooting, awaiting Pitter’s arrival. On that deadly night, Williams reportedly ambushed Pitter, shooting him ten times on the doorstep—evidence of both planning and extreme aggression.

This disturbingly plotted act was not isolated. Prosecutors outlined a disturbing escalation of harassment in the months leading up to the murder. Williams allegedly shot at Pitter’s car while he was visiting his girlfriend and even broke into her home just one week prior to the fatal shooting. Cell phone data and camera footage also showed Williams’s vehicle speeding away from the scene shortly after the shooting—evidence tying him directly to the crime.

A judge swiftly denied Williams’s request for bond. During a virtual hearing, the judge deemed his release a threat to public safety, especially given his pattern of stalking and violence. Pitter’s family expressed relief that Williams would remain behind bars. The victim’s sister shared the family’s fears, saying, “You never know who a person is or what can make a person snap—it’s kind of scary.”

Pitter was remembered as a talented artist, caring friend, and devoted son. According to his obituary, he brought “light, laughter, and warmth to everyone around him” and left a creative legacy through his music and community contributions. His sudden death sent ripples through friends and acquaintances who recalled his kindness, drive, and positive impact.

Williams’s trial has not yet been scheduled, and the pathway to justice is still unfolding. But for now, authorities have affirmed the seriousness of the allegations by keeping him in custody without bond. This case serves as a stark reminder of how jealousy and unchecked anger can escalate into deadly acts of violence. It also underscores the legal system’s role in recognizing patterns of abuse and stalking and intervening before tragedy strikes. Williams remains jailed as the community mourns a beloved young man whose life was ended in front of the place where he sought safety—his girlfriend’s home.
