Jonesboro, Arkansas – One Craighead County resident is celebrating a life-changing moment after scoring a massive win on his go-to lottery ticket. M. Robinson, a regular Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) player, claimed a $100,000 prize at the ASL Claim Center on March 31, thanks to a lucky round with the Jewel 7s instant game.
Robinson, who plays daily, has developed a routine that often includes purchasing tickets from different retailers. But when it comes to the type of game, he always sticks to Jewel 7s, a $5 scratch-off ticket that continues to be his favorite.
His winning ticket was bought from Kum & Go #395, located at 2607 Stadium Boulevard in Jonesboro. After buying the ticket, Robinson returned to his car and began scratching. That’s when the shock hit him.
“I started rubbing my eyes to make sure I was looking at it correctly,” Robinson told lottery officials.
A Shocking Surprise That Changed His Routine Forever
Robinson revealed that the top prize of $100,000 was sitting right in the first row of the ticket. He wasted no time in heading back into the store to double-check.
The ticket scanner confirmed what he hoped—it was indeed a winning ticket that needed to be redeemed at the ASL Claim Center in Little Rock. When he showed the clerk, they were stunned. “Wow, we’ve never seen that!” the clerk said. “You need to go to Little Rock.”
Prior to this win, Robinson’s biggest lottery prize had been $800, making this an unforgettable milestone. “I’d won and come to the Claim Center before, but it was nothing like this,” Robinson shared.
As of now, he has kept the news mostly to himself, but he plans to share his good fortune with a few close friends and family members soon. His first priority for the prize money? Taking care of bills.
Lottery officials also noted that two top prizes of $100,000 still remain in the Jewel 7s instant game, offering continued hope to fans of the scratch-off ticket.
