Mega Millions Ticket worth $40,000 sold in Clarendon

Mega Millions jackpot surges past $500 million for tonight’s drawing

Little Rock, Arkansas – A lucky lottery player in Clarendon has struck it big with a Mega Millions® ticket worth $40,000 from the July 23 drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Aclaren Inc., located at 503 Madison St. The winning numbers for this draw were 3, 9, 14, 26, and 51, with the Megaball® number being 21 and the Megaplier® set at 4.

The fortunate player matched four of the five white balls and the Megaball number. By opting for the multiplier, which costs an additional $1 per play, the initial $10,000 prize was quadrupled to $40,000.

Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Executive Director Sharon Strong commented on the win, stating, “We urge all players who played Mega Millions at this retailer location to check their tickets. The winner has 180 days from the July 23 draw date to claim their prize.”

Mega Millions and LOTTO Jackpots Continue to Rise

While the Mega Millions jackpot now stands at $306 million for the upcoming Friday night draw, excitement is also building around Arkansas’s own LOTTO game. The LOTTO jackpot has surged to $2.763 million ahead of tonight’s drawing.

The LOTTO jackpot, which has been growing since it was last won in September 2023, has now reached a record-breaking amount. The previous highest jackpot of $2.338 million was claimed by a resident of Sebastian County in May 2023.

LOTTO is an exclusive draw game for Arkansas, designed to provide players with the opportunity to win substantial prizes. Sharon Strong expressed enthusiasm about the rising jackpot, saying, “This LOTTO jackpot is monumental for an Arkansas-exclusive draw game. It’s exciting to know that, through the scholarships funded by lottery ticket sales, Arkansas students and players will both benefit.”

How to Play

LOTTO drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 8:59 p.m. For a chance to win the jackpot, players must match the first six numbers drawn in any order. There are also alternate prizes for matching three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.

Players can purchase LOTTO tickets from licensed Arkansas lottery retailers, as well as through the Jackpocket app, Jackpot.com, and Lotto.com.
