North Little Rock Parks and Recreation’s new skill features at Big Rock Quarry Bike Park

Little Rock, Arkansas – The North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department made the announcement on Monday that the Big Rock Quarry Bike Park will be receiving a new feature.

The park claims that the skill features will have been installed and will be available for usage.

North Little Rock is home to the Big Rock Quarry Bike Park, which can be found at 4600 River Road.

The existing pump track, parking lot, and neighboring biking and hiking paths will all look better with the addition of additional amenities.

“This is a great addition allowing for progressive skill development. Mayor Hartwick started the bike park project and is excited to see more elements being added for our biking community”, said Steve Shields, Director of Parks and Recreation.

Progressive Bike Ramps is the company that is in charge of installing the various skills features.

According to North Little Rock Parks and Recreation, the features will surround the existing pump track and will include a roll-in in addition to a split decision maker that will have an upper choice for basic skills and a lower option for more difficult skills.

The proprietor of Angry Dave’s Bicycles, Angry Dave, has expressed his enthusiasm for the brand-new components.

“This bike park is the only one in the state that has both types of features, pump track and skill progression elements in the same park area,” said Dave.

Those who enjoy bike parks will find that the new features give a lot of opportunities for fun.
