Little Rock, Arkansas – Three Arkansas lottery players enjoyed a day of unexpected wins on October 15, securing prizes worth thousands of dollars through their luck and determination. From Bay to Little Rock, each winner shared their excitement and plans for the newfound fortune.
Pamela S. from Bay Wins $100,000 with a $5 Ticket
Pamela S., a regular lottery player from Bay, experienced a life-changing win through the $6 Million Blowout! instant game. The lucky ticket was purchased at Jordan’s Kwik Stop 51, located at 108 N. Bay Drive. Having recently won $15 from another game, Pamela decided to reinvest in a $5 ticket, along with an additional $10 ticket.
After scratching off her $5 ticket in her car, Pamela initially thought she had won $100. However, a closer look revealed that she had actually hit the $100,000 top prize.
“I thought, ‘Oh, I won $100,’” Pamela shared with lottery officials. “Then I saw the comma behind it!”
In disbelief, Pamela returned to the store, where the clerk confirmed her win. Hesitant to scratch off the entire ticket out of fear of “messing it up,” Pamela celebrated by calling her husband, who accompanied her to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center.
“I can’t believe that little $5 ticket did that,” Pamela said. She plans to save most of her winnings and use part of it to buy a new vehicle. Notably, one more $100,000 prize remains unclaimed in the $6 Million Blowout! game.
L. Austin from Little Rock Wins $75,000 on a $3 Yahtzee™ Squared Ticket
In Little Rock, another fortunate winner, L. Austin, claimed a $75,000 prize through the Yahtzee™ Squared game. Austin purchased her winning ticket from Doublebees #121 at 1324 John Barrow Road, along with two other Yahtzee tickets.
After changing clothes, Austin scratched her ticket and was stunned by the result.
“Did I just win $75,000?” she recalled thinking. She rushed back to the store to verify her win and soon called a family “meeting” with her husband and son to share the exciting news.
“It’s not a million dollars, but it’s life-changing for me,” Austin said. She plans to use her winnings for savings, pay off bills, and keep some money for personal use. One $75,000 top prize remains available for Yahtzee™ Squared players.
A $30,000 Mega Millions Prize Sold in Sherwood Remains Unclaimed
A third lucky ticket, this time from the Mega Millions® game, brought another windfall. A $30,000 prize was won with a ticket sold at Circle K, located at 118 Country Club Road in Sherwood, for the October 15 drawing. The winning numbers were 22, 34, 44, 54, and 62, with the Mega Ball® number 3.
The lucky player matched four out of five white balls, initially earning $10,000. Because the player had opted for the Megaplier®, their prize tripled to $30,000. As of now, the prize remains unclaimed, and the winner has 180 days from the draw date to collect it.
