Persistence pays off as two Arkansas players turn smaller lottery wins into $50,000 jackpots

Fayetteville, Arkansas – Two Arkansas residents turned small lottery wins into huge payouts after playing the $50,000 Frenzy scratch-off game. Bradley Ingle of Cabot and Tammy F. of Washington County both claimed $50,000 top prizes on August 4, after deciding to give the game another shot using money they had previously won.

A Lucky Break During a DoorDash Shift

Bradley Ingle, who lives in Cabot, stopped by VMart LLC at 914 W. Main Street during a break from his DoorDash deliveries. Having just won $1,000 from the same $20 instant game a couple of weeks earlier, he decided to try his luck again.

“$50,000 Frenzy’s always been good to me,” Ingle told lottery officials.

He used a portion of his previous winnings to buy another ticket, scratching it on the spot. To his amazement, it revealed a $50,000 top prize. Still in disbelief, Ingle quickly phoned his girlfriend and brother to confirm what he was seeing.

“I called to make sure I wasn’t seeing things—especially in this heat!” he said.

Ingle said he plans to put the money into savings for now, opting to let the good fortune settle before making any big decisions.

A Parking Lot Surprise in Fayetteville

Meanwhile, in Fayetteville, Tammy F. had a nearly identical experience. She had recently pocketed $30 in winnings from $50,000 Frenzy and decided to use it to buy another ticket while out running errands. She made the purchase at Murphy USA 7123, located at 3951 N. Mall Avenue, and scratched the ticket in a nearby parking lot.

“There was just something about that ticket,” Tammy said when describing what drew her to it.

To her surprise, the ticket unveiled one of the game’s $50,000 top prizes.

“I was really in disbelief at first,” she shared. “My first thought was, ‘Oh my word!’”

Tammy immediately called her spouse, who was equally shocked by the win. She said she plans to use the prize money to take a vacation—an opportunity to relax and enjoy the windfall.

More Top Prizes Still Available

Both winners secured their prizes at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on the same day. The $50,000 Frenzy game has been a favorite among players, offering generous odds and a relatively high top prize for a $20 ticket.

According to Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials, thirty-four $50,000 top prizes remain in the game, making it a tempting option for those feeling lucky.
