Viola man wins seventy five thousand dollars on scratch off while Bella Vista player lands fifty thousand Powerball prize

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The holiday season brought incredible luck to two Arkansas residents, who claimed substantial lottery prizes following last week’s festivities.

Northeast Arkansas Player Wins $1 Million in Mega Millions

A dedicated lottery player from Northeast Arkansas struck gold in the December 20 Mega Millions drawing, winning an astonishing $1 million second-tier prize. The lucky winner claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on December 26.

The winning ticket was purchased at Murphy USA 8514, located at 3714 E. Main Street in Blytheville. The winning numbers for the drawing were 2, 20, 51, 56, and 67, with the Mega Ball number being 19. The Megaplier was 2.

The player, who regularly participates in both Mega Millions and Powerball games, purchased the Quick Pick ticket as part of his long-standing lottery routine. To his surprise, he matched all five winning numbers, earning the $1 million prize.

“I didn’t believe it,” the winner confessed to lottery officials. He plans to use his newfound fortune to pay off bills. This lucky Arkansan is one of only five winners nationwide to secure this prize in the December 20 drawing.

Jefferson County Resident Wins $200,000 with Instant Game

Another fortunate player, this time from Jefferson County, claimed a $200,000 top prize in the $10 Multiplier Mania instant game. The winner, a Pine Bluff resident, also claimed her prize on December 26.

The winning ticket was purchased as a thoughtful gift by her son at Bulldog One Stop, located at 10008 Dollarway Road in Pine Bluff. When the woman scratched off the ticket, she was stunned to discover she had won the game’s highest prize of $200,000. Sharing the excitement, she showed the ticket to her son, who initially misunderstood her excitement. Once he realized the significance, the two celebrated with joy.

The winner has stated that she intends to use her prize money to pay off debts. For those still hoping to win big, one more $200,000 top prize remains available in the Multiplier Mania instant game.

A $460,000 Jackpot Still Unclaimed

In addition to these major wins, another lucky Arkansas lottery player has yet to claim a $460,000 Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) prize. The winning ticket for the December 22 drawing was purchased at Casey’s #4680, located at 8903 White Oak Crossing in Maumelle. The winning numbers were 16, 26, 30, 31, and 33.

The ticket remains unclaimed, and the winner has 180 days from the draw date to collect their prize. This could be a life-changing opportunity for someone to wrap up 2024 on a high note.
