Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus invites the community to celebrate art, music, and generosity at Potpourri: Spirit of the Arts, scheduled for Saturday, December 7, from 6-11 p.m. The event will be held at The ARTSpace on Main, 623 S. Main St., Pine Bluff. This year’s Potpourri is presented by Express Employment Professionals in loving memory of Becky Simpson, a cherished supporter of ARTx3 and a dedicated member of the Arts & Science Center Endowment Board.
Supporting Art and Education
Potpourri is the largest annual fundraiser for ARTx3, with proceeds directly benefiting its three facilities: The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, ART WORKS on Main, and The ARTSpace on Main. Funds raised during this event help ensure that gallery admission remains free and that high-quality, hands-on programming continues to be accessible to the community at no charge. This year’s event carries special significance as it honors Becky Simpson’s legacy and her passion for the arts and education.
Evening Highlights
The evening promises a vibrant mix of entertainment and fundraising activities, including:
- Silent Auction: Featuring works by Arkansas artists and highlighted by pieces from renowned artist John Kushmaul.
- Live Auction: Hosted by Master of Ceremonies Matt Soto, offering unique items and experiences.
- Spirits Auction: Offering a selection of fine beverages for attendees to bid on.
- Live Music: Performed by the Groove City band, delivering a mix of old-school jazz and gospel tunes.
