Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus is offering a unique opportunity for educators and community members to unwind and restore their energy during a special yoga and meditation workshop. The event, Yoga in the Loft, will take place on Saturday, August 2, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The ARTSpace on Main, 623 S. Main St.

The session will be led by Florence “FloEssence” Love, a certified yoga instructor known for her calm and engaging teaching style. Participants will begin with gentle yoga stretches, focusing on mindful breathing and balance, before transitioning into a guided meditation designed to encourage relaxation and mental clarity.

“Exercise and relax with Florence ‘FloEssence’ Love during this yoga workshop,” the announcement reads. Mats will be provided for those who need them, but attendees are welcome to bring their own. Comfortable, yoga-appropriate attire is recommended.

Focus on Educators and Professional Growth

This month’s workshop is specially geared toward educators, offering them a chance to recharge and refocus ahead of the upcoming school year. The session qualifies for professional development credit, providing teachers a meaningful way to combine personal well-being with professional advancement. Interested participants can register for credit via the Arkansas Education Services Cooperative website. Upon registration, the session number will be emailed for both workshop attendance and credit validation.

Open to individuals aged 13 and older, the program is designed for all levels, from beginners to seasoned yoga practitioners.

As part of the ARTx3 Campus’ flex pay program, attendees can join the session with a minimum contribution of $5, though $15 is the recommended amount. Registration can be completed online at or by calling 870-536-3375. For more details, participants may also contact Bethany Gere, theater and programs coordinator, via email at [email protected] or by phone at the same number.

With its blend of physical exercise, relaxation, and mindfulness, Yoga in the Loft promises a refreshing experience, particularly for educators preparing for the new academic year.
