Pine Bluff police seek public help to find man wanted for 1st Degree Battery

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – A Pine Bluff teenager surrendered to the authorities in relation to a grave shooting incident that occurred on July 16, according to the Pine Bluff Police Department.

“On Sunday, Aug. 6,” the department confirmed that the 18-year-old Jayvion Williams turned himself in at approximately 11 p.m. on Aug. 5.

The young man is presently facing serious charges which include two counts of capital murder, as well as allegations of first-degree battery, a terroristic act, unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, and theft by receiving.

Earlier on July 16, law enforcement discovered a deceased 17-year-old outside a residence situated on the 2300 block of West 17th Avenue. Additionally, inside the same residence, they found a 14-year-old who had also succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds. The incident further resulted in injuries to another individual.

Initial reports from witnesses suggest that shots were fired from a moving vehicle that was seen passing by the aforementioned house.
