Port City Blues Players set to perform at Live@5 in Pine Bluff

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – On Friday, October 4, patrons can experience a night of soulful live music by the Port City Blues Players at The ARTSpace on Main, located at 623 S. Main Street in Pine Bluff. The event, part of the Live@5 concert series, will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.

A Celebration of Blues

The Port City Blues Players, a group of seasoned and multicultural musicians, are known for their dedication to preserving the blues art form. Regularly performing at concerts, festivals, clubs, casinos, and fundraisers, they serve as the house band for all Port City Blues Society blues jams and events in historic downtown Pine Bluff, particularly at RJ’s Grill & Bar. The band lineup includes Jerry McCoy (guitar, vocals), Dave Sadler (guitar, vocals), Mark Morgan (guitar, vocals), Roscoe Willis (bass), Gene Cooper (keyboards), and Lex Capraitalia (drums). Together, they bring both traditional and modern blues to life, with years of stage and studio experience reflected in their music.

Event Details and Admission

Entry is $5 for ARTx3 members and $10 for nonmembers. Tickets can be purchased at the door, and guests must be 21 or older to attend. Along with the musical performance, attendees can enjoy complimentary beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks, courtesy of the event sponsor, MK Distributors.

A Monthly Concert Tradition

Live@5 is a long-running concert series that brings jazz, blues, and rock & roll to Pine Bluff on the first Friday of each month. October’s concert will continue the tradition, offering the community a lively evening of music and entertainment in the Art Yard of The ARTSpace on Main.
