The community was on high alert after Marlow went missing. He was last seen on October 28 around 1 p.m. near 10601 Richsmith Lane. The responding officers scoured the surrounding areas and checked with local businesses along Counts Massie Road and Maumelle Boulevard but could not locate him. His condition raised urgent concerns, leading to the Arkansas State Police issuing a Silver Alert in hopes of aiding his safe return.

The intensive search took a tragic turn on the morning of November 1. At approximately 11:53 a.m., detectives, while combing through the woods near the 8700 block of Counts Massie Road, discovered the body of a man. The deceased was later confirmed to be Charles Marlow. Following the discovery, Marlow’s body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to ascertain the exact manner and cause of death.

As of now, the North Little Rock Police Department does not suspect foul play in the demise of Marlow. Nevertheless, they are continuing the investigation to fully understand the circumstances of this unfortunate incident. They urge anyone who might have relevant information to come forward and contact the North Little Rock Police Department tip line or the detectives directly.

The loss of Marlow is undoubtedly a profound one for the community, highlighting the vulnerabilities of individuals with dementia and the importance of community awareness and prompt action in similar situations.
