Temporary road closures on Highway 67 in Arkadelphia set for February 28 and March 1

Southbound lane on Interstate 555 near Payneway will close on weekdays in December for crucial bridge repairs

Arkadelphia, Arkansas – Drivers in Arkadelphia should prepare for temporary road closures along Highway 67 as crews work to install new sewer lines. The highway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on both Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1, weather permitting.

The closure will take place on Highway 67 between 10th Street and 8th Street, allowing the City of Arkadelphia to connect new sewer lines to the existing system. Crews will be working overnight to minimize disruptions for daytime traffic.

Motorists should follow marked detour routes and be aware of digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage placed along the route to guide traffic.
