Veteran Little Rock firefighter died following a highway crash over the weekend

Deadly collision in Pine Bluff over the weekend leaves one dead and another critically injured

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock Fire Department is grieving the loss of one of its dedicated members, Captain Robert Hild, who died in a crash early Sunday morning.

Details of the Tragic Incident

According to fire officials, the accident occurred at 12:30 a.m. on Highway 365 in Maumelle. Captain Hild was in the vehicle with his wife at the time of the crash. However, there is no information available regarding whether his wife sustained any injuries. The Arkansas State Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Remembering Captain Robert Hild

Captain Hild was a 25-year veteran of the Little Rock Fire Department and was most recently assigned to Fire Station #9. His long-standing service and dedication to the community have left a significant impact on his colleagues and the residents of Little Rock.

Survived by Family

Captain Hild leaves behind his wife and five children. The loss of such a committed and experienced firefighter is deeply felt by the entire department and the community.
