Young entrepreneurs to take center stage at an exciting event in North Little Rock this January

North Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Acton Children’s Business Fair, an engaging event that celebrates young entrepreneurs, is set to take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Glenview Community Center, located at 4800 E 19th Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Running from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the fair will transform into a vibrant marketplace where children ages 6 to 18 will showcase and sell their products, gaining invaluable business experience.

A Platform for Creativity and Innovation

This one-day event offers “kidpreneurs” a unique platform to test their entrepreneurial skills, foster creativity, and experience the realities of running a business. Participating children will set up their booths, display their products, and engage directly with customers in a supportive and authentic environment.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Acton Children’s Business Fair to Arkansas, continuing a legacy that started in Austin, Texas, in 2007,” said Tiara Howlett, the event organizer. “This event is an incredible opportunity for young people to experience the rewards and challenges of entrepreneurship while fostering a sense of responsibility and independence. It’s an environment where kids learn by doing—and they love it!”

Exciting Perks for Participants

The fair is free and open to the public, inviting families and community members to support and encourage the young entrepreneurs. Participants will receive event t-shirts, swag bags, and the chance to win exciting prizes. Each child will also be awarded certificates signed by the mayor, further acknowledging their hard work and accomplishments.

Sponsors and Supporters

The event is made possible by the generous support of Zoe’s Lemonade Stand, Humble Living Outreach, Acton Academy, and Acton School of Business, along with contributions from local donors and volunteers. These partnerships ensure a meaningful experience for the participants and help nurture future business leaders.

How to Get Involved
