El Dorado man receives 15-year prison term for methamphetamine distribution

Eleven individuals arrested in Mountain Home drug trafficking case after federal and state investigation

El Dorado, Arkansas – An El Dorado man, Wallace Kenya Cutter Sr., also known as “Kilo,” was sentenced last week to 180 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for his involvement in methamphetamine distribution. The sentencing took place in the U.S. District Court in El Dorado under the oversight of Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey.

Methamphetamine Distribution and Seizure

According to court documents, Cutter, aged 47, was a known distributor of methamphetamine in the El Dorado area. In March 2023, investigators conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from him, which led to a deeper investigation into his operations. On March 27, 2023, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Cutter’s residence. During the search, authorities seized approximately 1,162.79 grams of pure methamphetamine. The seized drugs, along with those obtained during the controlled purchases, were sent to the Drug Enforcement Administration Laboratory, where confirmatory testing verified their purity.

Legal Proceedings and Prosecution

U.S. Attorney David Clay Fowlkes of the Western District of Arkansas announced the sentencing. The investigation was led by the 13th Judicial District Drug Task Force. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Trent Daniels and Graham Jones, who played a critical role in bringing Cutter to justice.
