Lucky Camden resident wins $680,000 Natural State Jackpot prize

Arkansas mother wins $50,000 scratch off prize after trusting her instincts at a Little Rock gas station

Camden, Arkansas – A resident of Camden, Arkansas, has become the latest big winner in the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) after claiming a $680,000 prize from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on November 6. This substantial win has set a new record for the NSJ, marking an exciting moment for both the winner and the Arkansas Lottery.

The winning ticket, which was a Quick Pick entry, was sold at Tobacco Station USA #4, located at 100 Garden Oaks Drive S.W. in Camden. The fortunate numbers drawn in the November 5 NSJ were 5, 15, 25, 27, and 30, all of which matched the winning numbers on the Camden resident’s ticket.

A Stroke of Luck and a Record-Breaking Win

Interestingly, the lucky winner had bought the ticket with prize money from previous NSJ drawings, making it a reinvestment that paid off spectacularly. The man, a regular player of Arkansas Lottery games, had been hoping for a major win but wondered if Camden could experience another substantial prize after a fellow Camden resident recently won a $1 million instant ticket prize in October. Yet, as the NSJ prize kept rising, he decided to stay optimistic and take a chance.

“Somebody needs to win it,” he told himself as he purchased the ticket, not realizing that he was about to become that lucky winner.

The next morning, when he scanned his ticket with the AR Lottery + Club app, the message prompted him to visit the ASL Claim Center—a notification he had never received before. This unusual prompt piqued his curiosity, leading him to double-check his numbers and discover, to his amazement, that he had hit the jackpot. His numbers had aligned perfectly, granting him the top prize.

“That’s when I started shaking,” he shared with lottery officials. In a whirlwind of emotions, he quickly shared the good news with his parents and his wife.

Big Plans for the Future

With his winnings, the Camden man has set practical plans in motion. He intends to pay off debts, build up his savings, and take some time to relax and enjoy life. His win hasn’t deterred his love for lottery games either; he intends to continue playing, with his sights now set on the LOTTO jackpot, which has reached $4.12 million for Saturday night’s draw.

As for tonight’s NSJ draw, the jackpot is set at $60,000—a prize that, while smaller than this record-breaking win, could still change someone’s life.

The Lottery Continues to Excite Arkansas Players

The LOTTO, another Arkansas-exclusive game, has seen its jackpot climb to impressive levels. This game holds drawings twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 p.m., and requires players to match six numbers drawn from a pool of 1 to 40, plus a Bonus Number, to win the jackpot. For those who don’t quite hit the jackpot, alternate prizes are awarded to players who match three or more numbers, with or without the Bonus Number, keeping excitement high.

Supporting Education in Arkansas

All profits from the Arkansas Lottery contribute directly to K-12 education within the state, making every ticket a step towards educational funding. Players and curious minds can find more details about lottery games and how to play at MyArkansasLottery.com.

As the Natural State Jackpot continues to inspire hope and the LOTTO jackpot grows, Arkansas lottery players will no doubt keep their eyes on the prize, hoping for their own story to take a turn toward life-changing luck.
