North Little Rock, Arkansas – Residents of North Little Rock and surrounding areas have a chance to clean out their old tech clutter and do some good for the planet—completely free of charge. A free electronics recycling drop-off event will take place at the Simmons Bank Arena Parking Lot on Tuesday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 9, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of the Electronics Recycling Unplugged initiative.
The event will accept a wide range of old, broken, or obsolete electronic equipment from homes and offices. Items collected will be responsibly recycled at no cost to the public. Among the accepted items are:

Computers and accessories such as desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, servers, keyboards, mice, and hard drives (which will be securely destroyed)

Audio and video gear like televisions, DVD players, VCRs, cameras, radios, stereos, and gaming systems

Office equipment including printers, fax machines, copiers, surge protectors, and typewriters

Handheld devices like mobile phones, pagers, calculators, PDAs, and two-way radios

Countertop appliances such as microwaves, ovens, and coffee makers
This event offers a safe, environmentally responsible way to dispose of electronic devices, many of which contain materials that should not be dumped in landfills. By participating, residents help reduce electronic waste while ensuring proper disposal of items that could otherwise pose environmental hazards.
