Arkansas drug trafficker caught with 2.3 pounds of methamphetamine sentenced to 14 years in prison

Armed career criminal from Fayetteville receives over two decades in prison after threatening daughter and leading police on pursuit

Texarkana, Arkansas – A Texarkana man has been sentenced to more than 14 years in federal prison after authorities discovered a large stash of methamphetamine at his residence.

Meth, Firearm, and Cash Found Inside Home

On September 17, 2025, 40-year-old Christopher D. Nard, also known as “Killa Chris,” was sentenced to 168 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release. The sentencing took place in the United States District Court at Texarkana, where Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey presided over the hearing.

Nard’s sentence stems from a search conducted on March 26, 2024, when Miller County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant at his home in Texarkana, Arkansas. During the search, investigators discovered a substantial amount of illegal drugs and other items pointing to ongoing criminal activity.

Authorities seized approximately 2.3 pounds of methamphetamine, which equals just over a kilogram of pure meth, a loaded firearm, and a large amount of cash. These findings led to serious federal charges.

After being advised of his Miranda rights, Nard admitted to investigators that he had been trafficking pound quantities of methamphetamine on a weekly basis for an extended period.

His open admission, combined with the physical evidence seized from the home, played a key role in the court’s decision to impose a lengthy prison sentence.

The case highlights continued efforts by federal and local law enforcement agencies to dismantle drug trafficking operations and remove dangerous narcotics from Arkansas communities.
