Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas to host free game afternoon for adults ages 50 and older

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is inviting adults ages 50 and older to spend part of their Friday playing games, meeting people and enjoying some friendly competition during an upcoming Golden Hour event.

Golden Hour Game Time will be held Friday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Creative Construction Zone at the ARTx3 Campus.

The event is free and is designed to provide a relaxed social setting where participants can enjoy both classic and more contemporary games.

Registration required due to limited capacity

Visitors will have an opportunity to play card games, board games and other group favorites during the two hour gathering. Participants can bring their competitive spirit or simply attend to have fun and spend time with others.

Organizers hope the event will give attendees a chance to reconnect with friends while also meeting new people through shared activities.

Golden Hour Game Time is open specifically to adults ages 50 and older. Although there is no admission charge, space is limited to only 15 participants, making advance registration necessary.

The deadline to register is Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Interested participants can register online through the ARTx3 website. Registration is also available by phone by calling the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas at 870-536-3375.

The Sept. 18 gathering offers older adults a free opportunity to socialize, enjoy a variety of games and make new memories in a casual community environment.
