Arkansas launches new mobile application designed to simplify access to dozens of state government services

Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas residents now have a new way to access dozens of state government services without having to visit multiple websites or search for the right state agency.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration announced the launch of MyArkansas, a mobile application that brings more than 50 state services together in one place.

The app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play, allowing residents to complete everyday transactions, receive important reminders and find state resources directly from their mobile devices.

Sanders joined Department of Finance and Administration Secretary Jim Hudson to introduce the application at the state Revenue Office in Springdale, which served as Arkansas’ capital for the day.

“Arkansans have jobs to get to and families to take care of, and accessing state services should be a simple part of their day,” said Governor Sanders. “MyArkansas puts more than 50 state services in the palm of your hand, creating a more streamlined experience, whether it’s renewing tags or booking a stay at one of our beautiful state parks. This is another step toward building a state government that respects people’s time and works around their lives.”

New app brings state services together in one location

MyArkansas was developed to make dealing with state government easier by allowing people to find services through a single application rather than visiting several different websites.

The application was created in collaboration with Login.gov and connects users directly with official Arkansas state services.

Among the available options, residents can book lodging at Arkansas State Parks, purchase hunting and fishing licenses, and renew their vehicle registration.

The app also allows users to check current wait times at revenue offices, request vital records and apply for an Education Freedom Account.

These features are intended to help residents save time when handling common government transactions.

“Governor Sanders expects us to deliver first-class customer service, every time,” said Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration Jim Hudson. “Through this new mobile app, Arkansans do not have to search multiple websites to find the appropriate department that offers a needed service. They can simply visit the app and find it immediately. I encourage all Arkansans to go to the app store for their mobile phone and download it today.”

Beyond providing access to services, MyArkansas also includes updates and notifications covering several important areas.

Residents can receive information about emergency preparedness, upcoming license renewals, tax deadlines and eligibility for benefits.

State officials also plan to expand the application in future releases, adding more services beyond the more than 50 currently available.

Application part of broader effort to improve state government

Governor Sanders directed the Department of Finance and Administration to develop MyArkansas as part of an effort to make state services available around the clock.

The goal is to reduce the amount of time residents spend moving between government offices and websites when they need assistance or want to complete a transaction.

The launch also follows other steps taken by the Sanders administration to improve government operations and reduce costs.

In July, Sanders introduced the Arkansas Forward dashboard, an online resource designed to give residents access to current information about efforts to save money and improve services across state government.

The dashboard covers more than 300 opportunities identified across the executive branch’s 15 cabinet level departments.

Arkansas Forward was launched in 2024 and has since identified an estimated $135 million in taxpayer savings and avoided costs.

State officials expect the initiative to reach $300 million in savings and cost avoidance by the end of 2030.

The new MyArkansas application builds on those efforts by focusing on how residents access government services in their daily lives.

While the Arkansas Forward dashboard provides information about government improvements and savings, MyArkansas is designed to give residents a more direct way to use state programs and complete common tasks.

Arkansans interested in the application can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

A complete list of services offered through MyArkansas is also available at www.myarkansas.gov.

With additional features planned, the state intends to continue expanding the application as a central location for accessing Arkansas government services.
