Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Music lovers in Southeast Arkansas will have an opportunity to experience an evening of soulful sound and creative expression as performer Cyletha Marcelette takes the stage for March’s Live@5 concert. The event is part of the long-running concert series that brings live music to the community on the first Friday of each month.
Live@5 welcomes soulful Arkansas artist
Cyletha Marcelette will perform from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, in the Catherine M. Bellamy Theater at The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, located at 701 S. Main St. The Live@5 series is known for featuring jazz, blues, and rock & roll performances, offering audiences a relaxed after-work atmosphere filled with music and community connection.
Marcelette is a songwriter, musician, and performer known for a southern, soulful rap sound. Based in Southeast Arkansas, she has performed across the United States while developing a body of work that reflects her personal journey and dedication to community healing. Her music expresses themes of self-growth and restoration, aiming to inspire listeners while strengthening bonds within the community.
Her catalog includes two mixtapes, two EPs, and multiple singles. She has also worked on collaborative projects designed to build catalogs for sync licensing and songwriting placements, including a placement on Netflix’s “Rhythm & Flow” season 2. Over time, Marcelette has expanded her role in music production to create a more cohesive artistic vision.
Beyond music, her creative pursuits include visual art, content creation, and jewelry making. She is the owner of Fine and Alkaline, a holistic health blog, community, and product hub focused on wellness. She also hosts and DJs RnB & Tea, an open-mic platform that provides local talent with opportunities to perform and connect. Her mission centers on educating and cultivating the community while fostering meaningful connections.
Admission is $10 for ARTx3 members and $15 for nonmembers, payable at the door. Complimentary beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided. Organizers note that the event is for guests ages 21 and older.
