ARTx3 Campus announces temporary closure due to inclement weather through February 2

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The ARTx3 Campus has announced a temporary closure as severe weather continues to create unsafe conditions across the area. Officials shared that the ARTx3 Campus will remain closed from Thursday, January 29 through Tuesday, February 2, emphasizing that the decision was made with public safety in mind.

Temporary Closure Announced for Safety

Officials at the campus urged visitors, artists, and community members to avoid unnecessary travel while icy and slippery conditions persist. “Your safety comes first, so please stay warm, stay safe, and avoid those slippery adventures!” the announcement read, reminding residents that harsh winter weather can quickly turn routine trips into dangerous ones.

Although the physical space will not be open during this period, ARTx3 is encouraging supporters to stay connected from home. “While you’re cozying up indoors, take a moment to check out our upcoming events and ways to support ARTx3 at https://www.artx3.org/ . There’s lots of good stuff coming your way!” the message continued, pointing to future programs and opportunities designed to bring the community together once conditions improve.

The closure reflects a broader effort by local organizations to prioritize safety during periods of inclement weather. By pausing operations now, ARTx3 hopes to prevent accidents and ensure that guests can return comfortably when temperatures rise and travel becomes safer. Until then, community members are encouraged to remain indoors when possible, keep warm, and look ahead to the events waiting just around the corner.
