City of Pine Bluff opens application window for summer youth employment initiative

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The City of Pine Bluff has officially opened applications for the 2025 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), an initiative announced by Mayor Flowers to support young residents through job opportunities and skill-building experiences during the summer months.

The program is open to youth ages 16 to 21 who are either in high school or enrolled full-time in college. Selected participants will be placed at various worksites across Pine Bluff, where they will earn $11.00 per hour for their work. The program begins on June 9, 2025, and will run through July 18, 2025.

The 2025 Summer Youth Employment Program aims to give young people meaningful work experience, build workplace skills, and encourage community engagement.

Applications are being accepted online through April 30, 2025, at https://tinyurl.com/2025SYEPApp.
