County Judge announces transition of sanitation operations to Road Department

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Starting on November 1, 2024, Jefferson County’s Sanitation Department officially transitioned all payment and account management operations to the Road Department, according to an announcement from Office of County Judge Gerald Robinson. With this change, residents of Jefferson County are advised that payments, billing inquiries, and account services for sanitation are no longer managed by the County Judge’s Office.

New Payment and Inquiry Options

Residents now have multiple options to handle sanitation payments:

  • Online Payments: The website www.trashbilling.com provides an easy and accessible way to make payments online.
  • Phone Payments: Residents can also call 1-844-986-2493 for assistance with payment processing by phone.

In-Person Assistance at New Location

For in-person inquiries or payments, residents should visit the Jefferson County Road Department, now overseeing sanitation operations, at:

Jefferson County Road Department
3304 W 7th Ave
Pine Bluff, AR
Phone: 870-534-7020

This new location provides residents a centralized point for sanitation billing and account inquiries.

A Smooth Transition for Residents
