Jefferson County invites licensed contractors to submit bids for Donham and Toler road projects

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Jefferson County officials are calling on qualified contractors to submit bids for an important road improvement project. The county is specifically targeting work on Donham and Toler roads, aiming to enhance driving conditions and ensure long-term safety for residents.

The county emphasized that contractors must be experienced, licensed, and hold a valid bond in order to qualify for consideration.

Interested contractors can obtain full bid specifications at the Jefferson County Road Department, located at 3304 W. 7th, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603. For further information, the department can be reached at (870) 534-7020.

Submission Guidelines and Deadlines

All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope for identification purposes. Sealed bids are due no later than noon on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Jefferson County Road Department. At that time, bids will be officially opened and read aloud.

County officials stressed the importance of following all submission instructions carefully to ensure eligibility.

The notice also made clear that “The County Judge reserves the right to reject any or all bids.”
