Little Rock resident wins $25,000 in recent LOTTO drawing

Two Hot Springs residents each win $120,000 in Natural State jackpot drawing

Little Rock, Arkansas – Little Rock resident Rebecca H. became $25,000 richer after participating in the Arkansas LOTTO drawing on September 25. The windfall came from a ticket purchased through the Jackpocket mobile app, marking a significant win as the game’s jackpot continues to climb.

Rebecca, who regularly plays the lottery, followed her usual routine, which led her to win the substantial prize. She matched five out of the six winning numbers—4, 11, 14, 19, 32, and 35—plus the Bonus Number 6, to secure her winnings. The news was initially met with skepticism by Rebecca; she received an email the morning after the drawing and thought, “Come on, that can’t be real.”

Skeptical of the email’s authenticity, Rebecca consulted her company’s IT department, expecting confirmation of a scam. To her amazement, they verified the email’s legitimacy, confirming her $25,000 prize. Sharing her excitement, Rebecca said, “I’m totally happy with what I’ve won,” as she discussed her plans with lottery officials.

The fortunate LOTTO participant has earmarked the funds for practical and personal use: paying off her credit card debt and indulging in a luxury purchase—a Louis Vuitton backpack. Additionally, she plans to secure the remainder of her winnings in a Certificate of Deposit, ensuring a wise investment of her unexpected gain.

As the LOTTO jackpot soars to $3.667 million for the upcoming Wednesday night drawing, Rebecca’s victory adds to a growing list of lucky Arkansans. Since the jackpot was last claimed, nine other players have won $25,000 each, and 360 players have won at least $501.

LOTTO, which holds drawings every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m., requires players to match the first six drawn numbers to win the jackpot. Players can also win alternate prizes by matching three or more numbers, with or without the Bonus Number.

Tickets are available for $2 per play, with sales closing at 8:59 p.m. on the night of each drawing. Those interested can purchase tickets at licensed retailers across Arkansas or online.
