Pine Bluff, Arkansas – A recent study has indicated a shift in the rankings concerning the safety of American cities.
For some time, St. Louis was frequently labeled as the most dangerous city in the U.S., often being referred to as the “Murder Capital.”
However, according to a list published by Newsweek on the “15 Least Safe Towns and Cities in America,” St. Louis is notably absent from the top rankings.
The study, which appears to have originated from Money Geek, has identified Pine Bluff as the leading city in terms of safety concerns.
To provide insight into this ranking, the report shares the following statistics about Pine Bluff, Arkansas: “With a population of 39,670, it had a crime cost per capita of $9,071, a violent crime rate of 2,067.1, a property crime rate of 5,863.4 and a cost of crime of $359,866.”
Furthermore, it’s worth noting that North Little Rock is also mentioned among the top 15 cities with safety challenges.
