Pine Bluff Police Department invites community to job fair with onsite interviews and family fun

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) is inviting the public to attend its upcoming job fair on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter, located at 5501 South Olive Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Hosted by the Office of Professional Standards, the event offers a unique chance for individuals seeking a career in law enforcement to apply and interview on the spot for full-time police officer positions.

Interested applicants should bring the following documents to the event: a driver’s license, Social Security card, high school diploma, and birth certificate.

In addition to job opportunities, the event promises activities for all ages. The Pine Bluff Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #2 will be present, with President Shanee Jackson, Vice President DeShawn Bennett, and other board members firing up the grill. BBQ plates will be sold, and donations will go toward supporting the beloved “Shop with a Cop” program and other community outreach efforts. Visitors will also have a chance to meet members of the department’s SWAT Team, Drone Team, Bike Patrol, Criminal Investigations Division, and Patrol Officers.
